Papyrus

Papyrus provide confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person either through their helpline, HOPELINE – 0800 068 4141 or on their website.

The Mix

The Mix are there to help you to take on any challenge you’re facing – from mental health to money, from homelessness to finding a job, from break-ups to drugs. Talk to the mix online or using their confidential helpline – 0808 808 4994.

Kooth

Kooth is free online counselling and emotional well-being platform for children and young people. You can chat to their friendly counsellors online, read articles written by young people, get support from the Kooth community and write in a daily journal.

Stay Alive app

The Stay Alive app is a suicide prevention resource for the UK, packed full of useful information and tools to help you stay safe in crisis. You can download the app on both Apple and Android devices here.

Suicide Prevention Strategy

Suicide is the biggest killer of people under the age of 35 and the biggest killer of men under the age of 50. It is the leading cause of death in the UK for 10-19 year olds.

They are the result of the ultimate loss of hope and the ultimate loss of meaning of purpose. It devastates families and leaves a lasting impact. However, suicide is not inevitable and is preventable.
